MERDEKA Fireworks at NS Padang

After the treat at KFC, we proceeded to NS Padang to watch the Merdeka celebration and the not to be missed fireworks!! Though it started to drizzle few minutes before the midnite celebration, we stayed put (though some of our group members stared to walk back due to the drizzle and almost missed the dazzling display!!). It was worth....!!!

Birthday Party at KFC

Bro Perumal and family gave us (8 families!!) a treat at KFC to celebrate his and his son Prem( Yes..he is back from sailing..wearing quite costly tshirt and jeans bought from Japan!!) birhtdays. Had a great time till 10.30pm before our entrouge proceeded to the NS Padang for the annual .......

Ex student's wedding in Kota Tinggi

Went to Kota Tinggi last weekend to attend one of my ex student in SJK(T) Ldg Telok Sengat (spent 9 golden years there!!). Though the wedding was at 7pm, Nadarason (Ex collegue) and me managed to attend after spending more than 2 hours on the road from Ulu Tiram to Kota Tinggi due to traffic jam caused by police road block!! It was great to see few ex students and friends from my home town. Kumar (the groom) was so excited to see us and made sure we took a photo with his newly wedded wife. Wish you a long and happy married life Kumar!!

EPL is back!!

Yes..after almost 3 months the barclays EPL is back with a bang. REDS won (though not convincingly!!) the 1st match against Sunderland with a superb strike from El Nino. Hope this is a good omen...18 years is too long!!

Back to school!!

08.08.08...I am back to school.. SJK(T) Desa Cempaka(STDC), Nilai (Formerly SJK(T) Ldg Jindaram). a SKM school but got potential to grow BIG with a good set of teachers. Reported for duty today. Got a briefing from former head master Mrs.Kogila who was only there for 3 weeks yet did some good job. She is moving to SJK(T) Ldg Siliau, PD which is closer to her home.This school was without an HM for almost 3 months!!.(Mrs.Seedah was promoted to DGA34 in SJK(T) Kuala Pilah..you have done a good job here..TQ!!) Brought back memories of my first day at SJK(T) Bandar Spring Hill, PD on 01.07.2005. Past one week my hands were full getting accustomed to school life after away for 2 years in PPD and JPNS. Teachers gave me a briefing on what has been and will be done in year 2008 (in slide show!!) The only worry is this school is with out a clerk since February!! Hope to get a replacemnet soon.

Convo at MMU, Cyberjaya

Was at MMU on sunday with family coz my niece Premila Perumal was graduating in Biz Adm (1st Class!!)Congrats Premila!! You have set a standard for your siblings and cousins to follow (!st grandchildren of S.Vadivello to graduate. Happy working..( You will miss college life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0
