The teachers had a small birthday party for three of our staff, Kanjana, Devi and Jeyanthi. Happy birhtday.... Who is next??

MPLP Update 7

We(Segeran,Muthu, Rajendran, Manivannan, Chandra and Ravibalan)went to PD Glory Beach one day earlier to get things prepared(Panner joined us too). Muthu brought some food from home. Still got lof paper work to do later. Had a good time talking aboutcollege days. Later had some serious discussion about tomorrow's gatahering. can't wait to meet them all!! It has been toooooo long!!

MPLP update 6

All are in final stages to get ready for our gathering. Guna and Meroiveeran are joining us too!! Final count 44!! The check in starts at 2pm. Tea at 4pm. Dinner at 7 with 'walking down the memory lane. Please bring along proof of paymnet to avoid confusion. Was with orgnaising chairman Segran to finalise details tiil wee hours of the morning. Ramachandran K also joined us. Come prepared for a dance and singing. Let's make it a memorable nite.!! Here is a peek how the stage may look like!!

Drama Competition

My kid Kamalini took part in drama competition at SJKT Lobak on Sunday. The director is none other than my wife who had sleepless nights trying get all the peices togather. Got 9th position. Not bad considering the limited sources and time she had.

UKM Class

Finally, after going through a very tiring and trying 4 weeks, it's over!! Yes..holidays are here much deserved break for me!! Our cordinator, En.Jamalulail took time to be with us on last day to wish us SELAMAT HARI RAYA!!

MPLP Update 5

Up to today, 40 of our friends have confirmed (Logambal, Vimala, Rasamah). Tomorrow, we will make a final confirmation on rooms and food(vege/non vege). Hope we will be informed early. Can't wait. Sorry, I have been extremly busy with my studies(assignments..assignments...!!!!) Phew....!!! Tomorrow is final day to submit the balance. I am in the mids of doing it. From Friday evening, it will be full swing to prepare for our long over due gathering!!

PSDUBBM in PD

Today my daughter, Kamalini took part in 'syarahan BM' in PD representing Seremban 2 district. Congrats for putting up a pretty good performance though she came out 6th. You still got a chance next year to try a again. All the best!!

Buka Puasa

As usual, 'YB" Palani arranged a 'buka puasa' at Dol Tom Yam, Bkt Emas yesterday. We invited ING S'ban branch staff( 'YB' Rahim, Sue and Jeyanthi) to join us. The food was ok though not many menus..( I should have ordered more!!) Selamat Hari Raya Puasa, maaf zahir dan batin....

MPLP Gathering Update 4 - Food

Ramu (with family) from Kuantan have confirmed of coming. Ravibalan will be sending a brochoure to us to collect info about our family. Nice to see that the number have increased. Please confirm with me whether you are observing vegeterian diet as 'navarathiri celebration ' is on during this time.

MPLP update 3

Hi..friends.. More are joining us in PD!! KT Rajah, Ramu, Selva (PIS) and Kalaivani confirmed participation. Please let us know latest by this Friday to book extra rooms. I fear we may not get rooms due to raya holidays. Met Satya Narayanan last nite to give some photos of yesteryear(1981-83) to prepare slide show for the nite dinner. Larian Merdeka

Today is a public holiday in Selangor being Nuzul Quran(not M'sia Day!!) I went to school to flag off our own 'Larian Merdeka' to mark the end of Merdeka celebrations. Children took part enthusiasticly. Teacher also prepared some other events like coloring and 'jackpot' questions. Good effort by the teachers. Congrats! Now we have just a month to prepare the children for the final exam!! Keep working. Next two months will be hectic for all of us. Get charged and ready to charge ahead.

Merdeka Celebration at SJKTDC

Our school had 'Merdeka celebrations' launch recently. Apart fromthe usual patriotic songs singing, the students took part in creating 'kolam' connected to merdeka by usign coloured rice. the celebration will end with 'larian merdeka next week. Thanks to to staff of SJKTDC. keep going...

MPLP Gathering

There will be a gathering by Maktab Perguruan Lembah Pantai, KL(moved to Jitra and renamed IPDA) for 1981/83 and 1982/84 batches on 2-3rd Oct,'08 (second day of Raya) at PD Glory Beach Resort. It has been 25 years since we a had a great time!!! The response is good though was slow in the begining. 'Dato Seri' Segran, is the organising chairman. Friends from all over the country have agreed to attend this event. Keep coming!! So far abot 30 of them have confirmed attending this. Will update info regularly. LDP

We had a LDP programme in SJK(T) Labu 1 as per requirement by KPM. (No choice though today saturday!). Had two speakers, Mr.Mathawan, PST and Mr.Govind, PPD S'ban(pic). Lot of info from them. Thanks! Hope all the teachers will ponder the input and digest it. Thanks to SJK(T) Labu 1 family for being a great host. The next LDP will be on 27th Sept on ICT.

Oonam 2008

Today being Oonam, I was at Subang Jaya to celebrate with my god family, the Late V.K.Pathmanabans. Had a great dinner prepared by the ever "young" and loving Amma!! Worth the trip though got to travel like sardine in Komuter(today being Friday??).. keep going Amma!!

MERDEKA Fireworks at NS Padang

After the treat at KFC, we proceeded to NS Padang to watch the Merdeka celebration and the not to be missed fireworks!! Though it started to drizzle few minutes before the midnite celebration, we stayed put (though some of our group members stared to walk back due to the drizzle and almost missed the dazzling display!!). It was worth....!!!

Birthday Party at KFC

Bro Perumal and family gave us (8 families!!) a treat at KFC to celebrate his and his son Prem( Yes..he is back from sailing..wearing quite costly tshirt and jeans bought from Japan!!) birhtdays. Had a great time till 10.30pm before our entrouge proceeded to the NS Padang for the annual .......

Ex student's wedding in Kota Tinggi

Went to Kota Tinggi last weekend to attend one of my ex student in SJK(T) Ldg Telok Sengat (spent 9 golden years there!!). Though the wedding was at 7pm, Nadarason (Ex collegue) and me managed to attend after spending more than 2 hours on the road from Ulu Tiram to Kota Tinggi due to traffic jam caused by police road block!! It was great to see few ex students and friends from my home town. Kumar (the groom) was so excited to see us and made sure we took a photo with his newly wedded wife. Wish you a long and happy married life Kumar!!

EPL is back!!

Yes..after almost 3 months the barclays EPL is back with a bang. REDS won (though not convincingly!!) the 1st match against Sunderland with a superb strike from El Nino. Hope this is a good omen...18 years is too long!!

Back to school!!

08.08.08...I am back to school.. SJK(T) Desa Cempaka(STDC), Nilai (Formerly SJK(T) Ldg Jindaram). a SKM school but got potential to grow BIG with a good set of teachers. Reported for duty today. Got a briefing from former head master Mrs.Kogila who was only there for 3 weeks yet did some good job. She is moving to SJK(T) Ldg Siliau, PD which is closer to her home.This school was without an HM for almost 3 months!!.(Mrs.Seedah was promoted to DGA34 in SJK(T) Kuala Pilah..you have done a good job here..TQ!!) Brought back memories of my first day at SJK(T) Bandar Spring Hill, PD on 01.07.2005. Past one week my hands were full getting accustomed to school life after away for 2 years in PPD and JPNS. Teachers gave me a briefing on what has been and will be done in year 2008 (in slide show!!) The only worry is this school is with out a clerk since February!! Hope to get a replacemnet soon.

Convo at MMU, Cyberjaya

Was at MMU on sunday with family coz my niece Premila Perumal was graduating in Biz Adm (1st Class!!)Congrats Premila!! You have set a standard for your siblings and cousins to follow (!st grandchildren of S.Vadivello to graduate. Happy working..( You will miss college life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0

Durian Fiesta!!

During a short break between lectures 5 of us managed to go for 'durian fiesta'. Got this 'itch' after Dr.Johari was talking about fruit king!! The stall is near UKM roundabout. Good bargain..RM2 per fruit..HMMMM... Compliments from Sukimin.. Burppp!!

My family took a trip to Fraser's Hill on Wednesday to take a break frm our hectic shedule. what a relief!! This pic was taken early morning. Still cold and misty though not as before. Missed the chance to fill up our cars to fullest!!

We went around few schools in Selangor dan NS to look for some great pictures of PSS. Phew tired..got few. We must thank our classmate En.Sukimin for helping us to get some pics from the 1st school of Putrajaya (He was d 1st headmaster of the school too!!).
